NSBL conducted Financial Literacy programs during Global Money Week 2025

KATHMANDU: As part of Bank’s corporate social responsibility initiatives, Nepal SBI Bank Ltd., organized various Financial Literacy Programs from 17 th to 23 rd March on the occasion of Global Money Week 2025 under theme “think before you follow, wise money tomorrow”.
The initiative was aimed to educate school and college students across all provinces on various aspects of financial literacy, including importance of savings, understanding of loans and investments, digital banking, awareness on digital fraud and other fundamental banking and financial concepts.
These programs were conducted at various locations such as Dharmadevi, Beltar, Dharan, Limchungbung, Bargachhi, and Damak of Koshi Province, Rajgadh, Lahan, Chandranigahapur, Janakpur, Hariwan and Simara of Madhesh Province, Durbarmarg, Newroad, Ratnanagar, Hakimchowk, Battar, Dhading, Patan, Banepa and Hetauda of Bagmati Province, Waling, Baglung, Shishuwa and Pokhara of Gandaki Province, Palpa, Lamahi, Dang, Sunchhahari and Bhairahawa of Lumbini Province, Surkhet of Karnali Province and Dhangadi, Shivanath, Attariya, Ganyapdhura and Mahendranagar of Sudurpaschim province reaching out to more than 1500 participants.
The Bank has been rendering its banking services since last 31 years.
Currently, the bank has been operating through its 100 Branches, 22 Extension Counters, 7 Province Offices, 21 Branchless Banking, 125 ATMs and a Corporate Office.
