Nepali web beries ‘Ghar But In America’ reveals two posters
The first season will feature 12 episodes, all of which will be launched simultaneously, as confirmed by the director.

KATHMANDU: A new Nepali web series, Ghar But In America, made in America has unveiled two posters ahead of its premiere.
Directed and acted by Bimlesh Adhikari, the series is produced by Seven Colors Digital and will be streamed on the Nepali OTT platform, MSM Video.
According to Adhikari, the series is set to be released in the second week of Baishakh, coinciding with the Nepali New Year 2082.
The first season will feature 12 episodes, all of which will be launched simultaneously, as confirmed by the director.
This series marks a significant milestone as Nepal’s first web series to be released commercially on an OTT platform. “I am extremely happy to be part of this historic moment in Nepali web series,” said Adhikari.
The entire series has been filmed in the United States. Earlier, the teaser and promotional song titled “Amerikama Ghar Chha” were released, showcasing the lifestyle and relationships within the Nepali community living in America.
The director also hinted that the trailer for the first season is ready for release.
The series revolves around the story of parents who travel to the United States to meet their daughter, who is in a live-in relationship.
The narrative will present a situational comedy-drama, highlighting the various ups and downs of Nepali families living in the U.S.
Renowned Nepali actress Arunima Lamsal makes her return to acting after a decade, taking on the lead role in the series. Director Bimlesh Adhikari also plays a prominent character.
Alongside them, the series features notable performances from Radha Babu Lamsal, Khem Sharma, Ashish Dahal, and Rozina Thapa.
The screenplay and dialogues for the series were penned by Vivek Chamlagain, while the producer is Roshan Ghimire, with Sumitra Adhikari and Kumari Ghimire as co-producers.
The editing is done by Mitra D. Gurung, the color coordination by Kapil Parajuli, and the cinematography is by Bikrant Man Shrestha.
The posters were designed by Shan Thapa.
