KATHMANDU: Visitors to the famous pilgrimage site, Pathibhara (Mukkumlung) Temple in Taplejung, have begun enjoying the snow, following a fresh snowfall on Saturday.
The snowstorm has provided an opportunity for the pilgrims to indulge in snow activities.
According to the chief of the temple staff, Rajendra Mahat, the snowfall on Saturday was the second-largest of the year in the Pathibhara area.
Mahat, who has been serving as the head of the temple staff since December, shared that in previous years, snowfall has exceeded four feet.
By Saturday evening, the snow had covered the entire Pathibhara Temple area, creating a stunning winter scene.
On Sunday, pilgrims were seen enjoying the snow in the temple grounds.
