NA passes bill to amend 12 laws on good governance

KATHMANDU: The National Assembly has passed the Good Governance Promotion and Public Service Delivery (Amendment) Bill, 2081 with messages from the House of Representatives.
The bill was approved by a majority vote after a theoretical discussion in the Sunday session.
During the session, Minister for Communications and Information Technology, Prithvi Subba Gurung, presented the proposal on behalf of the Prime Minister, requesting that the bill, received from the House of Representatives, be considered.
The proposal was approved by a majority vote.
Members of Parliament wishing to propose amendments to the bill can submit their changes within 72 hours to the Federal Parliament Secretariat.
The government had introduced the bill to amend a total of 12 different laws through a replacement ordinance.
