Deuba challenges former King Gyanendra to enter politics

KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress President and former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has challenged former King Gyanendra Shah to open a political party and return to active politics.

Speaking at a program organized by the Bagmati Province Training Department of Nepali Congress on Sunday, Deuba stated that Gyanendra Shah is not even fit to be a constitutional monarch.

Deuba also urged the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) to make Shah its party president, suggesting a direct political involvement for the former king.
