MP Renu Chand demands government’s response on delay of Shahid Dashrath Chand University bill
She pointed out that despite the bill being passed by the National Assembly and sent a long time ago, it has yet to become law.
KATHMANDU: In the National Assembly, MP Renu Chand from the CPN (Maoist Centre) raised concerns regarding the delay in the enactment of the bill for the establishment of Shahid Dashrath Chand Health Science University.
Speaking during the Sunday session, she questioned, “Where has the Shahid Dashrath Chand Health Science University bill gone?” and demanded an explanation from the government.
She pointed out that despite the bill being passed by the National Assembly and sent a long time ago, it has yet to become law.
“Honorable Chairperson, where has the Shahid Dashrath Chand Health Science University bill gone? The government must provide an explanation. Why has the bill, which was passed by the National Assembly, still not been turned into law?” she asked.
Additionally, Renu Chand urged the government to focus on the operation of the Patan airport in the Bajhang district of Baitadi.
