KATHMANDU: A woman has died after being injured in a gas cylinder explosion in Dhangadhi, Kailali.

The incident occurred on Chait 2, when the cylinder exploded, injuring 36-year-old Mina Khadka from Ward 6 of Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City, who later passed away on Saturday at the Burn Center in Kathmandu during treatment.

According to the Kailali District Police Office, Mina Khadka succumbed to her injuries at the hospital.

Her daughter, 20-year-old Chandra Khadka, and the local gas vendor, 40-year-old Govinda Raj Joshi, were also injured in the explosion and are currently receiving medical treatment.
