Massive fire engulfs forest of Chandragiri

KATHMANDU: A massive fire has broken out in the Keurani Community Forest of Chandragiri Municipality, Kathmandu.

The fire has caused significant damage, and despite six hours passing since it started, it has still not been brought under control.

Teams from the Nepal Police, Nepal Army, and Armed Police Force are currently working to control the blaze.

However, the fire has not been fully contained yet and no human casualties caused thus far.

The authorities have stated that the fire’s spread across various areas of the forest is making it difficult to manage.
