Minendra Raj Rijal: NC embraces diverse ideologies

KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress leader Dr. Minendra Raj Rijal stated that the Nepali Congress is a party with a diversity of ideas.
Speaking at an event held in Kathmandu on Friday, he emphasized that the Nepali Congress represents the thoughts and consciousness of the general public.
He claimed that the party is capable of bringing together individuals with various ideologies.
He mentioned that due to the party’s inclusive nature, which encompasses a wide range of ideas and groups, ordinary citizens can proudly identify the Congress as their party.
Rijal pointed out that, similar to other longstanding democratic parties globally, Nepali Congress has the capacity to unite people from diverse backgrounds.
Rijal also accused the current governments of the Nepali Congress and CPN-UML of creating a wall of fire and engaging in politics of prohibition.
He suggested that the government should address public disappointment through good governance, engage in dialogue with political parties based on trust, and work towards constitutional amendments.
