Education Committee forms subcommittee to resolve school education bill issues
The committee decided to form an 11-member subcommittee under the leadership of CPN-UML MP Chhabilal Bishwakarma.

KATHMANDU: The Education, Health, and Information Technology Committee of the House of Representatives has formed a subcommittee to hold a clause-by-clause discussion on the School Education Bill.
In a meeting held on Friday at Singha Durbar, the committee decided to form an 11-member subcommittee under the leadership of CPN-UML MP Chhabilal Bishwakarma.
According to the committee chairman, Ammar Bahadur Thapa, the subcommittee was formed to resolve the controversial issues of the bill and present a report as quickly as possible, with a small team representing all political parties.
The subcommittee has been instructed to hold discussions and consultations with other members of the committee, experts, and stakeholders, and to resolve the issues internally as well.
In addition to Bishwakarma, the subcommittee includes MPs Digbahadur Limbu, Devendra Paudel, Mahendrakumar Rai, Ramprakash Chaudhary, Rekha Sharma, Bina Jaiswal, Binitakumari Singh, and Sarita Bhusal.
One more member will be added to the subcommittee after it begins its work.
The subcommittee has been given a deadline of 35 days to submit its report.
