GIBL partners with LMC to offer 25% discount on healthcare services

KATHMANDU: Global IME Bank Limited (GIBL) and Lumbini Medical College and Teaching Hospital have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to provide up to a 25% discount on various healthcare services to the bank’s customers at the hospital.
The MoU was signed by Shanta Shiwakoti, the Provincial Head of Lumbini Province at GIBL, and Gopal Bahadur Pokhrel, the Chair of the hospital.
As per the agreement, the hospital will offer a 25% discount on service charges and medications for customers using Global IME Bank’s debit/credit cards or the bank’s mobile app (Global Smart Plus).
The hospital will extend this discount on services such as general beds, laboratory tests, X-rays, ultrasonography, OPD services, and surgeries.
Following this partnership, customers of Global IME Bank will benefit from high-quality healthcare services at affordable rates, and the collaboration will also assist the hospital in expanding its healthcare facilities.
Chair Pokhrel emphasized that this initiative reflects the hospital’s commitment to providing accessible healthcare services.
Similarly, Shanta Shivakoti, Provincial Head of Global IME Bank, expressed confidence that this partnership with Lumbini Medical College and Teaching Hospital will benefit the bank’s customers and increase the usage of the bank’s cards and mobile banking services.
