KATHMANDU: The recently released Nepali film Anjila is achieving remarkable success in Nepal. Within its first week, the film has successfully attracted a large audience, and in its second week, it continues to be showcased in even more theaters.

Originally launched with 105 shows, the film’s screenings have now expanded to over 170 shows, and the number is steadily increasing across the country due to the audience’s overwhelming interest and positive feedback.

Along with its success in Nepal, there has also been significant demand for its international release.

However, amidst this excitement, misleading information has been circulating on social media regarding its global release.

In response, the film’s producers have issued an official clarification.

According to a press release from producer Prem Kumar Shrestha and director Milan Chams, as of now, the film’s distribution rights have only been sold to Japan, Korea, Canada, and Hong Kong.

Claims circulating on social media about the film’s global release are entirely false and misleading.

The producers also stated that they are now beginning to offer distribution rights to other countries and have requested interested distributors and exhibitors to contact them only through official channels.
