Traffic Police launch awareness campaign for two-wheeled riders

KATHMANDU: The Traffic Police have launched a new awareness campaign titled “Two Minutes with Two-Wheeled Riders” in the Budhanilkantha Municipality area, aiming to promote traffic rules.

The program, targeted at two-wheeled vehicle riders, will be conducted regularly every week, according to the Budhanilkantha Traffic Police Office.

Office Chief Birendra Bhishwokarma stated that through this initiative, riders will be informed about traffic rules, safety standards, and responsible vehicle operation. “This awareness program has been launched to reduce accidents and ensure safer road travel,” he said.

He emphasized that when riders operate their vehicles responsibly and according to the rules, the chances of accidents are significantly reduced. “We have started this program with the aim of spreading awareness on such topics every week,” he added. “In the future, the office plans to make this program more effective and inclusive.”

Participants in the program have also expressed that such informative initiatives are valuable and beneficial.
