Indian national missing in Kali Gandaki River still unfound

KATHMANDU: A 25-year-old Indian national, Shivam Pandey, who went missing while bathing in the Kali Gandaki River in the Ramdigham area along the Siddhartha Highway, has not been found as of Thursday.

Pandey, a resident of Gorakhpur in Uttar Pradesh, India, was reported missing since Wednesday afternoon while swimming in the river.

According to the District Police Office, Palpa, the incident occurred in the Bagnaskali Rural Municipality-5 area of Ramdi, where Pandey and three others had gone to bathe.

Despite efforts from the Nepal Army, Nepal Police, and local volunteers in the lower coastal areas, the search for the missing individual is still ongoing.
