GIBL unveils New Year 2082 calendar

KATHMANDU: Global IME Bank Limited (GIBL) has launched its New Year 2082 calendar, featuring rare photographs that showcase Nepal’s traditional lifestyle from decades ago.
The calendar was unveiled in a ceremony held at the bank’s corporate office in Kamaladi, with the participation of the President of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) and Chair of Global IME Bank, Chandra Prasad Dhakal.
The calendar includes rare photographs that capture the lifestyle, habits, and customs of Nepali people from several decades ago.
These images serve as a reminder of the changes in lifestyle and traditions over time and aim to educate the younger generation about the historical way of life in Nepal.
Chairman Dhakal, while launching the calendar, mentioned that Global IME Bank has been actively fulfilling its corporate social responsibility by engaging in various social initiatives.
He recalled that previous editions of the bank’s calendar have highlighted Nepali art and culture, emphasizing the importance of preserving and promoting these aspects for the overall development of Nepal.
He added, “To ensure Nepal’s holistic development, it is crucial to protect and promote Nepali art, literature, culture, and civilization. Global IME Bank has continuously supported such initiatives under its corporate social responsibility.”
The event was attended by the bank’s board members, senior management, employees, and various other dignitaries.
