NEPSE index drops by 14.88 points, closing at 2,682.15

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index has dropped by 14.88 points, reflecting a decrease of 0.55%, and closed at 2,682.15 points.

Out of the total listed companies, share prices of 54 companies rose, while 182 companies saw a decline in their stock prices.

Additionally, the prices of shares from 7 companies remained unchanged.

The total number of transactions reached 54,622, with a total trading value of Rs 5.14 billion (514 crore 39 lakh).

A total of 9.58 million shares were bought and sold on the day.

While the investment and hotel-tourism sectors showed growth, the mutual fund sector remained stable.

On the other hand, stock prices in other sectors declined.
