Protest in Kathmandu demands Mukkumlung conservation (photos)

KATHMANDU: A protest was held at Maitighar in Kathmandu demanding the conservation of Mukkumlung.

On Wednesday, the Mukkumlung Tangsêp Chumbho and Mukkumlung Conservation Inter-Party Struggle Committee organized the demonstration as part of their “Singha Durbar Siege” program to protect Mukkumlung.

Carrying placards with slogans like “Down with the corrupt, mafia agents, and goons of the Oli government” and “Immediate action against the Chief District Officer, Mayor, and DSP of Taplejung,” the protesters called for swift accountability and action.
