Himal Ghimire elected President of Chaturbhujeshwar Campus
Ghimire secured double the votes of his competitors, winning a total of 442 votes.

KATHMANDU: Himal Ghimire, a candidate from the All Nepal National Independent Students’ Union (ANNFSU), has been elected as the new President of the Student Union at Chaturbhujeshwar Multi-Disciplinary Campus in Hariban, Sarlahi.
Ghimire secured double the votes of his competitors, winning a total of 442 votes.
His main rival, Anjita Bhujel, representing the All Nepal Revolutionary Students’ Union (Akhil Krantikari), received 213 votes.
In addition to Ghimire’s victory, the entire panel supported by ANNFSU and Nepal Students’ Union (Nepali Congress-affiliated) was elected.
Rohan Upreti was elected as the Secretary with 403 votes, defeating his opponent Abhishek Baniya, who garnered 248 votes.
Smriti Shrestha emerged victorious as the Treasurer with 409 votes, while her competitor Sanjay Kumar Mahto received 234 votes.
In the member positions, Shyamjanak Thakur (410 votes), Punya Prasad Luitel (421 votes), Avina Dahal (414 votes), Elisha Sinjali (410 votes), and Ritis Maharjan (407 votes) were also elected.
Out of 828 eligible voters, 667 students participated in the election, as confirmed by the election officer Dr. Harilal Mainali.
