NSU wins FSU election at Aishwarya Multidisciplinary Campus after 15 years
The campus, with a total of 1,101 students, saw 1,403 votes cast during the elections held on Tuesday.

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Students’ Union (NSU) has secured a victory in the Student Union (FSU) elections at Aishwarya Multidisciplinary Campus in Dhangadhi, Kailali, after 15 years.
According to the election committee chairperson, Khemraj Panta, NSU’s Deepkaraj Bhatta won the post of FSU President with 533 votes.
His competitors, Dipendra Bhatt from the All Nepal National Independent Student Union (ANNFSU) received 425 votes, and Development Bisht from the All Nepal Revolutionary Student Union (Akhil Krantikari) received 402 votes.
Similarly, Devendra Bohara, from the NSU panel, won the Secretary position with 554 votes, and Sanchitakumari Chaudhary secured the Treasurer post with 569 votes. Both were part of the winning panel led by NSU.

Previously, there had been three student union elections at Aishwarya Multidisciplinary Campus.
In the elections held 15 years ago, NSU’s Rajendra Bhatta was elected as president.
In the second election, Kamal Bam, a candidate from a Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) aligned student group, emerged victorious.
The third election saw Kuver Khadka from ANNFSU winning the presidency.
