Govt. declares public holiday on Ram Navami

KATHMANDU: The government has decided to declare a public holiday on the occasion of Ram Navami. This decision was made during the Cabinet meeting held on May 17.

Information and Communications Minister, Prithvi Subba Gurung, shared this information at a press conference held at the Ministry of Information and Communications today.

The meeting also decided to appoint Dinesh Prasad Bhatt from Baithadi as the Executive Chief of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority.

Additionally, the Cabinet decided to direct the Board of Directors of Janak Education Materials Center Limited to appoint Yadunath Paudel from Arghakhanchi as the Managing Director of the center.

Furthermore, the meeting appointed Pavitra Subedi from Surkhet and Ramsharan Sapkota from Makwanpur as members of the Teacher Service Commission.
