Sunita Baral urges parliament to focus on policy, collaboration, and boosting production
Baral also urged all political parties to collaborate in taking steps to address the timely problems of the people.

KATHMANDU: CPN (UML) Whip Sunita Baral expressed that Parliament should focus on connecting with the public through policies and programs, rather than creating frustration among the people of Pokhara.
Speaking at the meeting of the House of Representatives on Wednesday, she emphasized the need to make Parliament a platform for addressing the issues of the public through meaningful policy discussions.
Baral also urged all political parties to collaborate in taking steps to address the timely problems of the people.
She accused new political parties of merely criticizing the leadership of older parties by raising generational issues, instead of contributing to resolving the country’s challenges.
She called for a debate on the problems faced by the public and the new generation, stressing the need for a generational shift in leadership.
Baral pointed out that Nepal’s economy is struggling due to a lack of production in several sectors and emphasized the urgent need to increase production.
To boost the workforce in the production sector, she highlighted the importance of making the education system more skill-oriented.
