NSU breaks Akhil’s dominance with narrow ivctory at Maharajgunj Nursing Campus

KATHMANDU: At Maharajgunj Nursing Campus, Nepal Students’ Union (NSU) has triumphed, breaking the legacy of the All Nepal Independent Students’ Union (Akhil).

Bindu Pokharel from NSU won the presidency with 259 votes, narrowly defeating Man Kumari Budha from Akhil, who secured 258 votes.

In addition to the presidential victory, NSU also claimed the positions of Secretary and Treasurer.

However, Akhil managed to secure a win in one of the member positions. This marks a significant shift, as Akhil had previously been dominant in the campus elections.
