Dolpa Campus’ Student Union election results

KATHMANDU: In the Student Union (FSU) election held at Dolpa Campus in Dunai, the joint panel of the All Nepal National Free Students’ Union (ANNFSU), Revolutionary, and Socialist groups emerged victorious.

• Gokarna Budhathoki from ANNFSU was elected as the President with 61 votes.
• Bhimbahar Rana from ANNFSU (Revolutionary) secured 68 votes and was elected as the Secretary.
• Sushmita Karki from ANNFSU (Socialist) won the position of Vice-Chair with 57 votes.

Against this joint panel, Panchbahadur Budha from the Nepal Students’ Union (NSU) contested the presidency but was defeated, receiving only 51 votes.

Similarly, Kamala Shahi from NSU, running for Secretary, received 44 votes, while Sarmila Mahat, the candidate for Treasurer from NSU, lost with 50 votes.

In the Liku Joint Campus, leadership was selected based on consensus:

• Rajendra Giri from ANNFSU (Revolutionary) was elected unopposed as the President.
• Bimal Khatri from ANNFSU was also elected unopposed as Secretary.
• Nishana Dharala from ANNFSU (Socialist) was elected unopposed as Vice-Chair.
• Aruna Neupane from NSU was elected unopposed as Treasurer.
