Pratikshya Godar elected President of Siddhartha Campus Student Union
The election, held on Tuesday, saw ANNFSU's entire panel win, including Godar.
KATHMANDU: Pratikshya Godar from the All Nepal National Free Students Union (ANNFSU) has been elected as the President of the Student Union at Siddhartha Community Multipurpose Campus, located in Phedikhola Rural Municipality-2.
The election, held on Tuesday, saw ANNFSU’s entire panel win, including Godar.
In a close race, Godar defeated Shailesh Thapa, the candidate from the Nepal Student Union (NSU), by a margin of four votes. Godar received 38 votes, while Thapa secured 34 votes.
In other positions, ANNFSU’s Shreeza Sharma was elected as the Secretary with 37 votes, and Sushmita BK was elected as the Treasurer, also with 37 votes.
As members, Sanjay Khatri (43 votes) and Smriti Kuwar (41 votes) emerged victorious.
For the proportional representation seats, ANNFSU’s Mira Godar and Pravita Ranabhat were elected, while Savina Bhandari and Samikshya Paudel from NSU secured their spots.
The positions of Vice-President and Assistant Secretary will be appointed through proportional representation, as announced by the newly elected Chairperson, Godar.
