Weather forecast: Light rain & snowfall expected in some regions today

KAATHMANDU: According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, light rain and snowfall are expected in parts of Gandaki Province today.

In the morning, partial cloud cover is expected over the Koshi, Madhesh, and Bagmati provinces, while the rest of the country will experience clear weather.

There is a possibility of light rain accompanied by thunder and lightning in some hilly areas of Gandaki Province in the afternoon.

Additionally, light snowfall may occur in a few places in the higher hilly and Himalayan regions.

In other provinces, the weather will remain partly cloudy, though predominantly clear, as shared by meteorologist Binita Maharjan.

Moreover, gusty winds are anticipated in some areas of Koshi and Madhesh provinces, particularly in the afternoon.
