MP Prem Suwal calls for consumer rights protection & balanced national development
He emphasized the need to create a law that restricts people to relocate only within their district to maintain balance.

KATHMANDU: Member of Parliament, Prem Suwal, from the Nepal Labour and Peasant Party, has called on the government to fight for consumer rights free of charge.
Speaking in the Monday session of the House of Representatives, Suwal urged the government to establish a system where consumers are provided with mandatory bills, as they currently cannot file complaints in consumer courts without a bill.
Suwal also highlighted the imbalance in national development, pointing out that rural settlements are being relocated to the provincial and federal capitals due to lack of infrastructure and opportunities in their own areas.
He emphasized the need to create a law that restricts people to relocate only within their district to maintain balance.
Furthermore, Suwal advocated for the production of technical devices, such as mobile phones, within the country. He stressed the importance of providing the youth with quality education to achieve this goal.
In his closing remarks, Suwal emphasized the necessity for public representatives and government officials to work within their districts to contribute to the nation’s balanced development.
