KATHMANDU: Om Bahadur BK, a senior constable at the Rishing Police Post, was found dead under mysterious circumstances.
The 43-year-old officer, originally from Rupandehi and stationed at Rishing, was discovered hanging from a tree near the police station this morning.
According to Police Deputy Superintendent Ashok Thapa at the District Police Office, BK had been suffering from long-term mental health issues.
He confirmed that an investigation into the matter is ongoing.
