KATHMANDU: CPN (Maoist Centre) MP, Bimala Subedi, has criticized the government’s failure, stating that both the Prime Minister and ministers have been unsuccessful in their duties.

Speaking during a meeting of the House of Representatives on Sunday, Subedi remarked that the government had failed in its self-assessment.

She accused the government of shirking its responsibilities and alleged that it was chasing after employees of the Nepal Electricity Authority while suppressing movements related to cable car projects and violating human rights.

Additionally, Suvedi accused the government of favoring businessmen and misusing power.

The MP also claimed that the government had not investigated various scandals involving its leaders and their families, indicating extreme misuse of authority.

She emphasized that the government’s actions of protecting their own while targeting opposition leaders had led to widespread frustration among the public.

Furthermore, Subedi argued that the government’s created sense of despair had fueled pro-monarchy groups to rise against the system.
