KATHMANDU: To promote digital payments, Prabhu Bank has launched the BHIM UPI service at the renowned Muktinath Temple complex in Mustang District.

The service was inaugurated today in a special ceremony attended by Nepal Rastra Bank Governor Maha Prasad Adhikari, who was the chief guest for the event.

With the introduction of this service, Indian nationals will now be able to make offerings, donations, and other payments at the Muktinath Temple through the BHIM UPI system by scanning QR codes directly from their bank accounts.

This initiative aims to provide Indian pilgrims visiting the temple with a convenient, secure, and efficient digital payment option.

It is also expected to strengthen the financial ties between Nepal and India, making transactions more seamless and accessible for devotees.
