KATHMANDU: Gold prices in Nepal have reached an all-time high today (Friday), with a notable increase of Rs 4,000 per tola.
According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Association, the price of Chhapawal gold has surged to Rs 174,500 per tola.
This marks the highest price recorded so far.
In comparison, on the previous trading day (Wednesday), gold was traded at Rs 170,500 per tola.
The previous record for gold stood at Rs 171,000 per tola, which has now been surpassed, setting a new peak in gold prices.
Silver prices have also seen a rise, increasing by Rs 50 per tola to reach Rs 2,050.
In the previous trading session, silver was priced at Rs 2,000 per tola.
This surge in gold and silver prices is garnering attention across the market, highlighting a significant shift in the precious metals sector.
