KATHMANDU: The character look of actor Mukun Bhusal from the movie Karma has been revealed.
The production team unveiled his look on the occasion of Holi.
In the new image, Mukun, with his well-groomed hair and beard, appears dashing in a suit and tie, showcasing an intense, angry expression. His gaze hints at his character being in a transformative phase.
This look clearly indicates that Mukun plays the antagonist in Karma, possibly as a character dwelling in the grey area of morality.
Whether the Holi scene features in the movie or is just a coincidence tied to the character’s reveal has not been clarified by the filmmakers.
Since the movie was shot in the Terai region, it is likely that a Holi scene could be part of the storyline.
Prior to this, the production also released the look of actress Upasana Singh Thakuri, who was seen in a traditional kurtha-salwaar ensemble.
Directed by Saurabh Chaudhary, known for his work on Agastya, Karma is set to release on March 29 in both Nepal and international markets. The film, an action drama, marks the debut action film for actor Bipin Karki.
The movie features a strong ensemble cast, including Upasana Singh Thakuri, Mukun Bhusal, and Divya Dev, with a story penned by director Chaudhary himself.
Karma’s international distribution rights have been acquired by Seven Seas Cinema, and the company has noted a growing interest from audiences, especially abroad, following the release of the recent posters.
Produced by Artistic Entertainment and backed by investor Bansant Lamsal, Karma is expected to create a significant impact.
The film’s teaser is scheduled to be released tomorrow, Friday.
