KATHMANDU: In celebration of International Women’s Day, Huawei Nepal reaffirmed its commitment to employee well-being by organizing a women’s health awareness session at Huawei Tower, Hattisar.
The initiative aimed to provide valuable medical insights for female employees, focusing on Cervical Cancer and Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS)—two prevalent health concerns among women.
A specialist in women’s health led the session, offering in-depth discussions on risk factors, symptoms, preventive measures, and treatment options.
The session also emphasized that many health issues, including Cervical Cancer and PCOS, can be managed or prevented through early screening, lifestyle modifications, and timely medical intervention.
As part of its gender inclusivity and employee well-being initiatives, Huawei Nepal also ensures a healthy working environment through regular monitoring of indoor air quality, water quality, and food safety.
Under its Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) policy, the company conducts fire drills and other workplace safety programs to maintain the highest standards of occupational health and safety.
Through such initiatives, Huawei Nepal continues to foster a healthy, inclusive, and empowering workplace for all employees.
