KATHMANDU: Nepal suffered a 23-run defeat against Namibia in the Women’s Day International Cricket Series, marking its third loss in the tournament.

Sana Pravin was the top scorer with 31 runs, while Kabita Joshi added 17.
Captain Indu Barma and Puja Mahato contributed 15 runs each.
Apart from them, no other batter reached double digits.
Namibia’s Evelyn Kejarukuba took two wickets.
Earlier, Nepal won the toss and opted to field, restricting Namibia to 125/8 in 20 overs.
Yasmeen Khan led the scoring with 45 off 44 balls, including five fours.
Wilka Batting scored 20, Suné Wittmann added 15, and Jureen Diergaardt remained unbeaten on 16.
For Nepal, Ishwori Bist claimed three wickets, while Rashmi Chaudhary took two.
This was Nepal’s second loss against Namibia in the series, having also suffered a narrow two-run defeat to Hong Kong.
However, Nepal secured a win against Uganda.
Nepal will face Hong Kong in its next match tomorrow.
