KATHMANDU: The newly elected executive committee members of the Private and Boarding Schools’ Organization Nepal (PABSON) have taken the oath of office.
During the 26th National General Convention held in Kathmandu on Wednesday, the newly elected officials were sworn in.
Newly elected Chair Krishna Adhikari emphasized his commitment to enhancing quality education in PABSON-affiliated schools.
He stated that Nepal’s private schools have gained global recognition for their excellence and pledged to continue this legacy by internationalizing education.
Adhikari highlighted that addressing the recently introduced Education Bill is his top priority. He assured that he would work to ensure private schools registered as companies remain under company jurisdiction and facilitate their smooth succession.
He further claimed that PABSON’s dedicated efforts have elevated the organization’s reputation.
The newly elected PABSON leadership includes Gopal Acharya as Vice President, Deepika Rimal as Senior Vice Chair, Aashish Shrestha and Thakin Kumar Gurung as Vice Chairs, R.B. Katuwal as General Secretary, Ganesh Babu Pokharel as Treasurer, and Pralhad Khanal and Karma Wangyel Lama as Central Members.
