Industry Minister opens Automotive Conclave, says industry sector is on path of prosperity
The government's action for economic reforms has driven the industrial sector towards prosperity, the Minister claimed.

KATHMANDU: Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies, Damodar Bhandari, has said the country’s industries have now been oriented to prosperity.
Speaking at an inaugural session of the Automotive Conclave-2081 BS organised by the MeroAuto here today, the Minister expressed the government’s commitment for economic reforms.
The government’s action for economic reforms has driven the industrial sector towards prosperity, the Minister claimed.
“Private sector is the special priority of the government,” he said, adding that such priority will be reflected in the upcoming budget.
Minister Bhandari also called for submissions in align with the existing acts for policy efforts aiming for holistic development of the private sector
He acknowledged that business community in Nepal are marred by numerous issues and pledged to keep no stone unturned for the promotion of industries.
The Minister also took the opportunity to press for the need to encourage the use of Nepali products to support the industries at home.
