RSP MP accuses Nepali Congress leader of land seizure in Kathmandu
He also criticized the local authorities for failing to take any action to protect the land, even after receiving formal complaints.

KATHMANDU: Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) MP Shishir Khanal has accused a leader of the Nepali Congress of illegally occupying land in the Democratic Square of Tarkeshwor-9, Kathmandu, which belongs to the Newar community’s graveyard.
Speaking in the Parliament on Wednesday, Khanal claimed that the land, which is listed under the name of the Nepal Government (Kitta No. 62/63), has been seized and is being used by a Nepali Congress leader, despite repeated complaints from local residents.
He also criticized the local authorities for failing to take any action to protect the land, even after receiving formal complaints.
Another RSP MP, Sumina Shrestha, has called for an investigation into the matter.
In response, Nepali Congress leaders in Parliament have raised objections. Speaker Devraj Ghimire urged members to base their statements on verified facts.
