KATHMANDU: Santosh Acharya of Akhil Krantikari has been re-elected as the president of the Student Union at Sinja Multipurpose Campus, located in Province (Kha) of Jumla.

His election was uncontested, based on mutual cooperation among the four student organizations at the campus.

The organizations—including Akhil Krantikari, ANNFSU, Nepal Students’ Union (Nepali Congress), and Akhil Samajwadi Students’ Organization—had registered to participate in the Student Union elections.

Instead of engaging in disputes, they committed to uniting for the development of the campus, leading to Acharya’s re-election.

According to Campus Head Tirth Bahadur Nepal, the leadership team consists of Acharya as President, Mahendra Raj Bam of ANNFSU as Vice President, Rajinda Shahi of Nepal Students’ Union as Secretary, and Tul Raj Tirwa of Akhil Samajwadi as Treasurer.

Elected members include Rajan Bam from Nepal Students’ Union, Mohan Bhandari and Sobind Bam from Akhil Samajwadi Students’ Organization.

Sinja Multipurpose Campus, which was established in 2010, is the only campus in the Sinja region, and currently has 180 students enrolled.
