APF seize 800 kg of smuggled sugar in Shailyashikhar

DARCHULA: The Armed Police Force (APF) has seized a vehicle carrying 800 kg of smuggled sugar from Nangtad, Shailyashikhar Municipality-9.

According to the APF Nepal Battalion No. 44, a mobile checkpoint team discovered the vehicle (registration number M 1 J 324) abandoned with the contraband sugar.

The seized vehicle and sugar were handed over to the Darchula Customs Office on Tuesday for further legal action, the APF stated.
