Prachanda visiting Rupandehi for multiple events

KATHMANDU: Chair of the main opposition party, CPN (Maoist Centre), Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda,’ along with other party officials, is set to visit Rupandehi today to address various programs.

Prachanda and his team will land at Bhairahawa Airport around 10:30 AM and proceed to Om Satiya Rural Municipality-6 to lay the foundation stone for a park at Jamuhani Lake.
From 12:00 to 12:30 PM, he will inspect a landslide-prone area in Jyotinagar, Butwal, before addressing the Magar Liberation Front’s national conference at Traffic Chowk, Butwal, at 1:00 PM, according to Maoist Centre Rupandehi coordinator Nirmal G.C.
The conference will also feature speeches from senior party leaders, including Vice Chairman Narayan Kaji Shrestha, General Secretary Dev Prasad Gurung, Deputy General Secretaries Barshaman Pun and Janardan Sharma, Secretary Chakrapani Khanal, and former Speaker Onsari Gharti.
Following the Butwal event, Prachanda will attend the prize distribution ceremony for the winners of the Sainamaina Gold Cup at Murghiya Stadium, Sainamaina, from 3:30 to 4:00 PM.
He is scheduled to return to Kathmandu later in the evening.
