KATHMANDU: Barcelona became the first team to qualify for the Champions League quarterfinals after a dominant 3-1 victory over Benfica, securing a 4-1 aggregate win.

Raphinha opened the scoring in the 14th minute from Yamal’s pass, but Benfica quickly responded as Nicolás Otamendi scored with a header from a corner.
However, Yamal restored Barcelona’s lead in the 29th minute before Raphinha sealed the victory in the 42nd minute with a superb finish from Alejandro Balde’s pass.
Bayern Cruise Past Leverkusen
Bayern Munich booked their place in the last eight with a convincing 2-0 win over Bayer Leverkusen, completing a 5-0 aggregate triumph.
Harry Kane continued his sensational form, scoring in the 52nd minute—his 10th goal of this Champions League campaign. He became the first English player to score double-digit goals in a single Champions League season. Kane later assisted Alphonso Davies in the 71st minute to confirm Bayern’s victory.
PSG Knock Liverpool Out in Penalty Shootout
Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) staged a stunning comeback to eliminate Liverpool, winning 4-1 on penalties at Anfield after a dramatic tie ended 1-1 on aggregate.
Ousmane Dembélé scored in the 11th minute to level the tie after Liverpool had won the first leg 1-0. After extra time failed to produce a winner, the match went to penalties, where PSG converted all their spot-kicks while goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma denied Darwin Núñez and Curtis Jones.
With this victory, PSG joins Barcelona and Bayern in the Champions League quarterfinals.
Inter Milan Beats Feyenoord 2-1
Inter Milan secured their place in the UEFA Champions League quarterfinals with a 2-1 victory over Feyenoord on Tuesday.
With this win at the San Siro, Inter progressed with a dominant 4-1 aggregate score, having won the first leg 2-0.
The Italian giants took an early lead in the 8th minute as Marcus Thuram showcased brilliant individual skill to find the net.
However, Feyenoord responded in the 42nd minute when Jakub Moder converted a penalty to level the match.
Inter regained control just six minutes into the second half, as Hakan Çalhanoğlu calmly slotted home a penalty to restore their lead. From there, the Nerazzurri managed the game efficiently to seal their progression.
In the quarterfinals, Inter Milan will face German powerhouse Bayern Munich in what promises to be a thrilling encounter.
