PM Oli pledges swift action for prosperity & unity in Nepal
Prime Minister Oli emphasized the importance of protecting the constitution, which was achieved through the sacrifices and struggles of the people.

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has stated that the government is working vigorously to move the country forward by strengthening the federal democratic republic, ensuring good governance, and focusing on prosperity.
While delivering a special address at the Koshi Provincial Assembly today, Prime Minister Oli emphasized the importance of protecting the constitution, which was achieved through the sacrifices and struggles of the people.
He also mentioned that necessary amendments would be made in favor of the people and the federal democratic republic.
Clarifying that anyone could compete within this system, he said there was no need for anti-system voices. He further added that the system could be enhanced through a constitutionally sound, peaceful, and good governance approach.
“We want to eliminate poverty and backwardness of the people. We will not be satisfied with just eradicating poverty. We aim to fulfill the overall human, biological, and just needs to advance the country,” said Prime Minister Oli. “Within this system, which upholds citizens’ supremacy, we want to work swiftly towards prosperity. We aim to create employment opportunities, and first, we must focus on entrepreneurship. Therefore, we are not looking to take the country backward but forward. The three levels of government must collaborate to advance the country’s development.”
Prime Minister Oli also stressed the need to maintain unity in the country by respecting its geographical, cultural, and ethnic diversity, and emphasized that Nepal, with its proud history, should play its role in making the country sovereign, democratic, and prosperous on the world stage.
Earlier, Prime Minister Oli had addressed the 13th convocation ceremony of the Eastern University.
