Gold & silver prices drops slightly

KATHMANDU: There has been a slight drop in the price of gold and silver in the local market.

On Tuesday, the price of gold fell by Rs 500 per tola, and silver dropped by Rs 15 per tola.

According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Entrepreneurs Federation, the price of gold, which was traded at Rs 170,400 per tola on Monday, decreased to Rs 169,900 per tola on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, silver was traded at Rs 1,970 per tola.

In the international market, the price of gold stood at $2,898 per ounce on Tuesday.
