Nabil Bank opens applications for 5th cohort of Nabil SSE Fellowship

KATHMANDU: Nabil Bank has announced the opening of applications for the fifth cohort of the Nabil School of Social Entrepreneurship (Nabil SSE) Fellowship Program.
This initiative aims to promote social entrepreneurship by supporting individuals with innovative business ideas that create a positive impact on society.
Interested candidates can apply until Chaitra 25.
The six-month-long program, conducted in collaboration with Tribhuvan University’s School of Management, provides an 18-day free residential training and a one-year mentorship program.
Impact and Current Participation
So far, three cohorts have trained 56 entrepreneurs, leading to the establishment of 45 social enterprises, creating employment for 1,184 individuals. Currently, 20 entrepreneurs are undergoing training in the fourth cohort, and another 20 will be selected from nationwide applications for the fifth cohort, as per Nabil Bank.
Eligibility and Application Process
- Eligibility: Applicants must be Nepali citizens aged 18 and above, with either an existing business or a strong entrepreneurial vision.

Nabil SSE’s Growing Impact
Nabil SSE, a flagship CSR initiative of Nabil Bank, has been running for three years, offering both Fellowship and Certificate Courses.
To date, the program has supported the creation of 117 enterprises, generating over 1,200 jobs.
While the Fellowship Program operates in partnership with TU’s School of Management, the Certificate Course is run through 11 academic institutions across all seven provinces under the Nabil Center for Social Entrepreneurship.
