KATHMANDU: The Cliff, located in the Parbat-Baglung region, has successfully established itself as an adventure tourism destination, offering various activities and attracting both domestic and international tourists.

On Sunday, police officers undergoing the “Special Skills and Tactics (Commando) Training” participated in a bungee jump at The Cliff in Kusma, as part of their training program.
The jump was organized under the supervision of Police Deputy Superintendent Ganesh Bahadur Baral and was witnessed by Police Senior Superintendent Deep Shamsher Jabra, the principal of the training college.
Senior Superintendent Jabra explained, “This is part of training commandos for any future challenges. We involve them in adventurous activities to enhance their preparedness.” He further mentioned that The Cliff has been collaborating with the Nepal Police and has also extended its services abroad due to the professional team it has built over the years.
A total of 106 police trainees took part in the bungee jump.
The Nepal Police regularly involves its personnel in adventurous activities as part of their training, with previous groups from the Armed Police, Nepal Army, and Nepal Police also engaging in bungee jumping at The Cliff.
Raju Karki, the chairman of The Cliff, expressed his happiness at being part of the Nepal Police training initiative.
Under Karki’s leadership, The Cliff has been developed over the Kali Gandaki River gorge, connecting Parvat and Baglung, and offers the world’s highest swing and the second-highest bungee jump.
In addition to bungee jumping and the swing, The Cliff features luxury cottage rooms at its resort, and construction is underway for an infinity swimming pool and a conference hall.
Other activities available include world-class sky cycling, mega troll, sky cafe, wall climbing, slingshot, crazy bridge, sky gliding, and sky chairs.
