Annapurna GM Manoj Basnet honored in U.S. for media excellence

KATHMANDU: Annapurna Media Network’s General Manager, Manoj Basnet, has been honored for his outstanding media management and visionary leadership.
New York State Assembly Member David I. Weprin presented him with a certificate of recognition for his exceptional contributions to the media sector.
The award was recommended by Triveni Times, a media house operating in New York, on the occasion of International Women’s Day.
“Basnet’s 15 years of exceptional leadership and strategic media management have played a crucial role in establishing Annapurna Media Network as a leading Nepali media house. In recognition of this, I am honored to present him with this award,” stated Weprin in the official certificate.
Weprin also praised Annapurna Media Network as one of Nepal’s most popular, influential, and high-quality media houses.
David Weprin was first elected as a New York State Assembly Member in 2010 and has been re-elected in every subsequent election.
He currently serves as the Chair of the Insurance Committee and is a member of the Banking, Judiciary, and Asian Pacific American Task Force committees, among others.
