GIBL launches ‘Global M Entrepreneur Loan’ to empower women entrepreneurs

KATHMANDU: Global IME Bank Limited (GIBL) has launched the “Global M Entrepreneur Loan” targeting small and medium entrepreneurs.

The loan aims to facilitate financial support for women entrepreneurs, with the goal of promoting employment, social development, and economic empowerment within local communities.

This initiative encourages women to engage in business operations and leadership.

The bank will give special priority to women-led businesses in agriculture, production, processing, and marketing sectors within the small and medium industries.

Under this scheme, women entrepreneurs can access loans of up to Rs 10 crore at attractive interest rates and favorable terms.

Only businesses with at least 50% ownership by women and operated under their leadership will be eligible for this loan.

Additionally, the bank will offer digital gifts to entrepreneurs taking out the Global M Entrepreneur Loan.
