KATHMANDU: Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak has reviewed the security situation in Baitadi.
During his visit this morning, he inspected the Khodpe Police Post and gathered information about the district’s overall security status.
According to Chief District Officer Dirgharaj Upadhyaya, Minister Lekhak not only assessed the district’s security but also issued necessary directives.
“During the inspection of the Khodpe Police Post, the Home Minister was briefed on the district’s security and disaster management situation. He also provided necessary instructions,” Upadhyaya stated.
Minister Lekhak directed authorities on key issues such as security, disaster management, and drug control.
After his visit to Baitadi, he departed for Bajhang, where a temporary office is set to be established for the reconstruction of housing for earthquake victims, his personal secretary, Janak Raj Bhatta, informed.
