Gold prices drop by 500 rupees, silver sees slight increase

KATHMANDU: Gold prices have decreased on the last trading day of the week in the Nepali market.

According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Association, the price of gold has dropped by 500 rupees today (Friday).

As of today, the price of hallmark gold is being traded at Rs 170,500 per tola.

This is a decrease from the previous trading day (Thursday) when it was priced at Rs 170,700 per tola.

On the other hand, the price of silver has increased by 5 rupees, now trading at Rs 1,990 per tola.

On Thursday, silver was priced at Rs 1,985 per tola.

Currently, the price of gold per 10 grams stands at Rs 145,920, and the price of silver per 10 grams is Rs 1,706.
