Equipment worth Rs 8 million handed over to Dhaulagiri Eye Hospital

GANDAKI: The Lions Club International Foundation has provided health equipment worth Rs 8 million to Dhaulagiri Eye Hospital, Baglung.
Club’s Director Bal Krishna Burlakoti handed over the equipment necessary for eye treatment to Chair of Netra Jyoti Sangh Baglung chapter Bindu Sagar Rajbhandari and announced the beginning of the assistance project.
Director Burlakoti said the assistance was received to provide quality eye treatment services to the local people Baglung, Parbat, Myagdi, Mustang, Gulmi and Arghakhanchi districts.
Likewise, he promised to extend additional support in the future for upgradation of Dhaulagiri Eye Hospital, one of the large health facilities for eye care services in Gandaki Province.
