PM Oli visiting Karnali Province today
Chief Minister Yamlal Kandel had personally invited the Prime Minister by handing over an official letter in Kathmandu earlier.
KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is set to visit Surkhet, the capital of Karnali Province, today.
He will attend the convocation ceremony of Mid-Western University and deliver a special address at the Karnali Provincial Assembly.
Chief Minister Yamlal Kandel had personally invited the Prime Minister by handing over an official letter in Kathmandu earlier.
PM Oli is expected to arrive in Surkhet at 11 AM and will immediately take part in the university’s convocation ceremony.
According to Chief Secretary of the Provincial Assembly Secretariat, Jibaraj Budhathoki, the special address is scheduled for 2 PM.
Chief Minister Kandel will welcome the Prime Minister before the address.
Following the event, Social Development Minister Ghanshyam Bhandari stated that PM Oli will inspect the Provincial Stadium in Birendranagar.
